Very nice 8-minute long track from Friendly Fires in collaboration with Andrew Weatherall and Timothy J Fairplay (aka the Asphodells). ‘Before Your Eyes’ is the first single from the British band since their 2011’s Pala. Definitely more hypnotic and psychedelic than their previous productions, still very impressive though.
New song from the British producer Starsmith. Pop, but not that much in-your-face. Bearable if you need some pop.
Some fruitful cooperation between Prince and Zooey Deschanel and here we have ‘FALLINLOVE2NITE’ – amazing track, filled with energy and positive vibe. Anybody wanna fall in love tonight?
LA-based singer Jillian Banks, simply known as Banks, has shared a new, very sensual video for her latest single ‘Brain’. Thrilling, surreal and mysterious visual experience. There’s some magic about this girl, worth keeping an eye on.
Shortly after ‘When Girls Collide’, múm have released another great track. Mellow ‘Saddle Up’ was one of the B-side songs on their latest limited edition disc, alas sold out now. Worth streaming though!

In case you haven’t heard it yet, here’s something absolutely magnificent. Mark Smith (Explosions in the Sky guitarist) and composer Matthew Cooper, a.k.a. Eluvium, have created a new band called Inventions. ‘Entity’ comes from their self-titled LP which is set to be released quite soon, on April 1st. Wonderful, space, dreamy experimental ambient. If you ever got blown away by Sigur Rós, you’ll love it.
As a follow-up to his well received album ‘Nonfiction’, The Range (James Hinton), is back now. ‘Slow Build’ is opening his new EP (out March 24) with some lovely minimalist beats.
Australian electronic band Cut Copy have recently shared a nice video for ‘We Are Explorers’ from their ‘Free Your Mind’ LP (out now). The video was made with 3D printed little green figures who are exploring the world in the darkness. Nice one.

New song from M83! French electronic band have just released ‘I Need You’ which is a part of the soundtrack for ‘Divergent’ movie (in cinemas March 21st). Amazingly magical with a fantastic sax solo in the middle. What’s not to love?
Two years ago they also recorded the main music theme for Tom Cruise’s ‘Oblivion’. Let’s see if they will help another movie to be successful. The soundtrack is out March 11th, and it also features artists like ASAP Rocky, Chance the Rapper, Skrillex, Ellie Goulding or Kendrick Lamar and Tame Impala.
Here’s the latest video from the Icelandic experimental-pop group, múm. It tells a story of some female robots who seem to be capable of feeling emotions. Nice travel through some unreal world. The electronic song ‘When Girls Collide’ comes from the most recent band’s album ‘Smilewound’ and the video was directed by Javier Longobardo.
