Anna Calvi, David Byrne – Strange Weather (Official Video)

English singer Anna Calvi and David Byrne (Talking Heads) teamed up to record a cover of ‘Strange Weather’, originally by Keren Ann. The song will be released on 14th July as a part of the 5 track covers EP, produced by Thomas Bartlett, who previously collaborated with bands such as The National i Antony and the Johnsons. Haunting cover and you will definitely hear strong Anna Calvi’s influence here.

Major Lazer and Sean Paul released a video for ‘Come on to Me’. Japanese-themed clip features women dancing in colorful geisha outfits and men playing taiko drums. Impressive choreography and massive drum power!

Watch the new, animated Metronomy’s video for ‘Reservoir’ from their latest album, Love Letters. The cartoon was directed by Daniel Brereton. The abstraction of of the song and video quite reminds of another band’s hit, ‘The Look’ from The English Riviera LP.

UK trio London Grammar have shared a new music video for their beautiful track ‘Sights’, which will be out as a single on June 1. At first glance the clip shows Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman and Dot Major performing live, but there’s a little twist at the end. Very intimate scenery for very emotional song.

Klaxons – There Is No Other Time

English indie rock band, Klaxons, have shared a video for their new catchy single ‘There Is No Other Time’. The visuals perfectly match dancey rhytm and melodic synths. Something tells me it will be a good disco anthem of this summer. The song will appear on Klaxons’ forthcoming LP Love Frequency which drops June 2nd.

The former White Stripes frontman Jack White has announced his new, second solo album (follow-up to 2012’s Blunderbuss). It’s titled Lazaretto and it’s set to be released on June 10. Listen here to the first taste off it, an instrumental ‘High Ball Stepper’. Massive guitar sound!

Australian female rapper Iggy Azalea and British singer Charli XCX have teamed up and recorded ‘Fancy’ to pay tribute to the ’90s legendary ‘Clueless” film. The song itself might leave something to be desired, but the videoclip is worth watching to recall some classic movie’s scenes.

Here’s the latest video from the Icelandic experimental-pop group, múm. It tells a story of some female robots who seem to be capable of feeling emotions. Nice travel through some unreal world. The electronic song ‘When Girls Collide’ comes from the most recent band’s album ‘Smilewound’ and the video was directed by Javier Longobardo.
