Neneh Cherry has teamed up with another Swedish music icon Robyn and here is the fruit of that collaboration. ‘Out Of The Black’ is the lead single on Neneh’s new album ‘Blank Project’ (produced by Four Tet), her first solo LP since 1996. The urban collage video was created by artist Dario Vigorito, aka 241-24-7.

Hilarious, animated video from Flume for ‘Space Cadet’ recorded together with Ghostface Killah and Autre Ne Veut. The song appears on the upcoming (April 15th) deluxe edition of this young Australian producer’s debut album released last year. Nicely surreal, colorful cartoon 🙂

American rock band Dum Dum Girls have released a short, 11-minute movie which features the song ‘Are You Okay?’ from their latest LP ‘Too True’. The thriller was written by Bret Easton Ellis and it stars Dee Dee, Shiloh Fernandez and Sophia Marzocchi. Pretty gloomy story!

Iggy Azalea – Fancy (Explicit) ft. Charli XCX [video]

Australian female rapper Iggy Azalea and British singer Charli XCX have teamed up and recorded ‘Fancy’ to pay tribute to the ’90s legendary ‘Clueless” film. The song itself might leave something to be desired, but the videoclip is worth watching to recall some classic movie’s scenes.

Australian electronic band Cut Copy have recently shared a nice video for ‘We Are Explorers’ from their ‘Free Your Mind’ LP (out now). The video was made with 3D printed little green figures who are exploring the world in the darkness. Nice one.

Here’s the latest video from the Icelandic experimental-pop group, múm. It tells a story of some female robots who seem to be capable of feeling emotions. Nice travel through some unreal world. The electronic song ‘When Girls Collide’ comes from the most recent band’s album ‘Smilewound’ and the video was directed by Javier Longobardo.

Marvelous, artistic video from Polish electronic duo, Plastic, for their song ‘I Want U’. The colorful, neon animations perfectly fit in the groovy basslines, melodic 80s. synths and sweet vocals, taking you on a psychedelic, dancy journey. Quirky and lovely!

The video was illustrated by Dawid KrÄ™pski and the song comes from the recent Plastic’s record ‘Living in the iWorld’.

Little Dragon – Klapp Klapp [official video]

Swedish synthpop band, Little Dragon, have shared the first of two music videos for ‘Klapp Klapp’, which is the lead single from their forthcoming album, ‘Nabuma Rubberband’. Zombie-themed, supernatural video was directed by Taylor Cohen. Nabil, the creative director of this clip, will also take care of the second one.

‘Nabuma Rubberband’ is the first quartet’s LP after 2011’s ‘Ritual Union’. The record will be out May 13 in the U.S. and May 12 in the UK.

The Notwist – Kong [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Another fantastic video, this time from the German electronic / indie rock band, the Notwist. ‘Kong’ is coming from their new album ‘Close to the Glass’ (out Feb 24).

The animated video is said to be “based on a true story that involved Marcus Acher and his family who got trapped in their home during an Ammer River flood in Weilheim, Germany. The young Acher was secretly hoping that a superhero would save his family as the waters rose around them.”

The clip was directed by Yu Sato and the illustrations were designed by Tim Divall.

New song and video from English art rock musician, Anna Calvi. ‘Piece By Piece’ is the next single off her second album, ‘One Breath’ (out on March 31). This girl is clearly not afraid of guitar experiments which, along with her unique voice, always makes her tracks somehow special.

Not so long ago Metronomy have shared with us the audio version of their hippie song ‘Love Letters’ and now we can also watch the video. Abstract and colorful scenery will just take you back to the cartoon world from your childhood 🙂

The video was directed by Michel Gondry. Full album with the same title will be out on March 7th. It features also the previous single, ‘I’m Aquarius’.

Lily Allen’s new video totally lacks the title ‘Air Balloon’, but it’s got some nice zebra and jaguar instead. Safari-oriented, hippie visual was directed by That Go. ‘Air Ballon’ is the second single (after ‘Hard Out Here’) off her upcoming record.

Rudimental – Powerless feat. Becky Hill (Official Video)

Rudimental have just shared a great visual for their new single ‘Powerless’ featuring Becky Hill. It was shot in New York and tells the story of two identical twins, Deano & Scotty Burrell, who are professional boxers.

‘Powerless’ comes out 17th Feb as a sixth and final single from the platinum selling debut album ‘Home’ by the English quartet. The video was filmed and directed by David Edwards at Rattling Stick in New York.

Tomas Barfod – Pulsing (feat. Nina K) [Official Video]

Tomas Barfod, a Danish house dj/producer, has just shared a new track ‘Pulsing’ which features melodic vocals from Nina K. Barfod, who is also a member of Filur and a drummer of electropop band WhoMadeWho, teamed up with the Swedish vocalist before (2012) for ‘November Skies’ (from ‘Salton Sea’ album) and this new song is a follow-up to the previous successful collaboration. Gorgeous song and uhm… interesting video.

The video was directed by Cherise Payne. ‘Pulsing’ EP will be available February 2014 on Secretly Canadian.
